ACTION IN DISABILITIES INDIA [AID INDIA]

AID INDIA's mission is to build a just, humane, economically self-reliant and sustainable alternative society by animating the disabled, poor women groups including widows, abandoned and other disadvantaged groups in the society to have access to suitable trainings, services, welfare programmes, Rehabilitation, good health, educational opportunities, small savings and credit for income generation. AID INDIA runs this programme under the name GRAMA VASANTHAM. It is an income generating programme setting its goal as socio economic development and poverty alleviation.

It also runs vocational training programme in tailoring and computer application for the differently abled persons and dalit girls.

For differently abled persons, apart from micro credit programme, it runs a CBR centre.

Educational Assistance, Awareness Generation Programme, Health Programme, Guidance & Counselling, Assistance for Aids & appliances, Refferal Services are some of AID INDIA's Programmes for the Disabled.
