MAVUNO

Mavuno is a grassroots development organization empowering local leaders to end extreme poverty in aastern Congo. Our five-step process is designed to place local interests and ingenuity at the center of a community’s development. We listen, develop local leaders, end extreme poverty through agriculture, health and education, promote stabiity, and eventually exit, leaving the assets and knowledge in the hands on the local leades.

We empower local leaders to create their own solutions to extreme poverty, partnering with them to bring stability and prosperity to eastern Congo. Mavuno envisions a peaceful and thriving Congo where all people have the opportunity to create their own future.
