Oregon Public Health Institute

Our mission is to improve the health of Oregonians.

To achieve our mission as a Public Health Institute we:

• Serve as an independent catalyst and convener among local and state public health agencies, private entities, and community-based organizations;
• Identify and seize opportunities for public policy and systems change, advocating to prevent and resolve health problems and address unmet community health needs;
• Research and dissminate best practices and innovative policy approaches; and
• Acknowledge the accomplishments of current and emerging public health leaders.
