Hostelling International USA - Los Angeles

The mission of Hostelling International USA (HI-USA) is "to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling." Our organizational vision is that "hostellers become caring world citizens who are catalysts for intercultural exchange and understanding, and who are stewards of the earth."

HI-USA strives to connect our local community of Angelenos, through educational programs and volunteerism, with the current of international guests who stay at HI hostel facilities. We believe that deeper appreciation for other cultures different from our own comes from cross-cultural interaction and dialogue. HI hostels foster experiences that change the way people regard each other and the world, further creating world peace one person at a time.
