The Inter-American Teacher Education Network is an initiative of the Office of Education and Culture (OEC) of the Department of Human Development, Education and Culture (DHDEC) of the Organization of American States (OAS).
ITEN is a recently launched professional network of all actors involved or interested in the field of teacher education in the Americas. ITEN provides a platform for sharing knowledge, experience, research and good practices in the field of teacher education with the primary purpose of promoting improved quality of education.
