THE LEAGUE OF HEROES INSPIRED

The LHI (League of Heroes Inspired) is based in Sacramento, CA, wholly empowered by caring Volunteers who want to uniquely actually make a real difference in the lives of children, particularly those who've experienced trauma.

We play (fully in character) the archetypal Princesses and SuperHeroes who had traumatic childhoods, as we interact with children in trauma centers, hospitals and agencies. Those of us TCA-Certified (Therapeutic Cosplay Actor) inspire the kids to change their self-images from "Victims" to "Heroes".

And we have a big gift drive during the holiday season (12th annual as of 2019), collecting gifts for the children who are stuck in regional hospitals over the holidays. These agencies receive the gifts:

* Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance (children battling Cancer)

* Ticket to Dream Foundation (foster children)

* Shriner's Children's Hospital

* Sutter Children's Health

And boy, can we use some help with our big holiday gift drive!!
