United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania (UNC) is a private, not-for-profit, grass-roots agency that offers direct and general advocacy services in Lackawanna County. UNC has served the needs of low-income populations since 1923. As a voluntary organization, UNC is dedicated to assessing and meeting the needs of low-income families, youth and senior citizens, and providing people with the tools needed to integrate into the community and attain self-sufficiency. Crisis intervention, direct aid and general advocacy services are available to those most in need.
