PathWays of Southwestern PA

PathWays of Southwestern Pennsylvania is a non-profit, person-centered social service organization dedicated to the development and advancement of children and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities. Founded in 1964 by a group of concerned parents and community professionals, PathWays grew to become United Cerebral Palsy of SWPA and expanded to include Washington, Greene, and Fayette Counties. Since, PathWays has continually innovated solutions for children and later, adults with developmental disabilities. Today, we are proud to say that PathWays serves more than 1,600 families in Westmoreland, Greene, Fayette, Washington, Allegheny, and Lawrence counties.

Regardless of age, regardless of circumstances, everyone in our community has aspirations and the potential to make them realities. But for children with complex medical issues, families in need of caring support, and adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism, achieving those goals presents an array of challenges. At PathWays, we’re committed to overcoming obstacles and seeing the people we care for achieve more than they ever imagined. Through innovative programs, lifelong services and individual attention, we empower people of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential.
