AmeriCorps*VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) is like Peace Corps in America. VISTA members work full time at non-profit, faith-based and other community organizations for one year. The goal of VISTA is to create and expand programs that ultimately bring low-income individuals and communities out of poverty.
