Fields Corner Main Street

Fields Corner Main Street (FCMS) is one of 20 Main Streets programs in the City of Boston working to make the city’s historic commercial districts stronger and livelier. Focusing on the Dorchester Avenue business district from Freeport Street to Melville Avenue, FCMS provides design and financial assistance for improving storefronts, works on streetscape beautification, conducts market research, provides merchants with tools to compete in today’s market, recruits new businesses to the neighborhood and markets the area as a vibrant and unique place to shop, eat, live and work.

Fields Corner Main Street's mission is to ensure that Fields Corner continues to be a thriving, welcoming, secure district comprised of diverse businesses serving residents and attractive to visitors. Also, to promote Fields Corner encouraging more people to live, work, shop, and dine in the district.
