Southeast Ministry, a non-profit faith-based outreach ministry of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation. Located in the heart of Ward 8 in Southeast Washington, Southeast Ministry (SEM) provides a ministry of hope for men and women in a safe and respectful environment through education, job readiness training and other programs that build self-esteem, transform lives and help those involved realize their God given abilities. To achieve this mission SEM offers the following programs: 1) Job Readiness, 2) ABE & GED Preparation, and 3) Youth Literacy Services.
