Vita Sports Partners was incorporated in 2016 to “elevate humanity through sports.” We believe there is something inherently unique about a sports-based environment that offers a life-altering pathway to social change. As such, Vita aims to elevate sports-based philanthropy so that organizations who use sports to achieve social missions can be more sustainable, and we do so in three ways: 1) support selected SBYD organizations with game-changing grants, leader development, and capacity-building services; 2) build overall capacity in the Sports-Based Youth Development (SBYD) sector with training and best-practice collaborations, and; 3) serve as the operational leader and overall manager of the newly formed shared non-profit workspace in New York City – the Vita SBYD Hub. The Vita SBYD Hub – NYC is a 90-seat shared office space for Sports-Based Youth Development organizations and other selected non-profit organizations who have complementary missions and services.
