Arts|Learning, Inc.

Arts|Learning's mission is to develop and advocate policies, practices, programs and partnerships for a new level of excellence in pre-K–college teaching and learning, in and through the arts. Arts|Learning believes that the arts have the power to transform education. Arts|Learning exists to be a catalyst in that transformation.

As an advocacy organization, A|L works to have state officials create policies that support arts education in the Commonwealth's preK-12 public schools. A|L also provides professional development to help educators become more effective in their teaching practices. The Annual Champions of Arts Education Advocacy Awards honor individual educators, legislators, media personalities, administrators, and others who exemplify outstanding teaching and advocacy in arts education.
