re:viewed - Transparent Humanitarian Feedback

re:viewed is a new initiative created by a small, international and virtual team - a Brit in Denmark and a Syrian in Iraq. We are creating a dedicated online space to enable those in need of, or those in receipt of, humanitarian assistance to rate and review their experience of humanitarian assistance and service providers. re:viewers are therefore expected to be from refugee, migrant, displaced or otherwise conflict / disaster affected communities.

We believe that aid is at its best when it listens to the people who are receiving it. Moreover, transparent feedback has the added potential of strengthening and incentivising humanitarian accountability commitments - leading to better designed programmes, better aid and better impact.

The main aim of re:viewed is to empower people affected by crisis to inform public perceptions and influence donor decision with the ultimate purpose of improving the aid they receive. re:viewed will do this by publishing and publicising anonymous review submissions at www.re-viewed.org (Pilot site currently available in English and Arabic).

We wish to kick start the review process in Greece (within a wider regional focus of Europe and the Middle east) and are seeking advocacy support from individuals and organisation directly connected with refugee communities.
