The Office for Graduate Education (OGE) is an Institute-wide support and referral office for graduate students and graduate administrators. The OGE supports and serves individual graduate students, programs, and schools in order to make graduate education at MIT empowering, exciting, holistic, and transformative. The OGE Diversity Initiatives team recruits and supports MIT’s thriving community of graduate students – particularly those individuals who are underrepresented (American Indian, African American, Hispanic American, and Native Hawaiian or U.S. women in certain disciplines) or underserved (low socioeconomic background and first generation college) in graduate education.
