Diversity Richmond

Our VISION: We are the physical and virtual center for the enrichment of the lives of sexual and gender minority people in Central Virginia through individual and organizational achievement and growth.

Our MISSION : We develop and help sustain organizations, programs and services that contribute to a vibrant Central Virginia community that shares our values of diversity, inclusion, individual dignity, equality and civic engagement.

Diversity Richmond operates a thrift store and a gallery. We have multiple spaces, from a classroom to a large event hall, available to sister non-profits to use at no charge or for rentals. We have several community events throughout the year, give out grants annually, provide assistance to help individuals prevent homelessness, and have begun quarterly food drives since the beginning of the pandemic.
