PROVIDENCE VILLAGE OF RHODE ISLAND

The Providence Village is a group of friends and neighbors working together to support those of us who want to stay in our home and communities as we grow older. It was founded in 2-15 by a group of older Rhode Islanders who were inspired by the National Village movement. They saw the potential for this new kind of organization, a community of mutual support that could make a significant difference in the lives of its members. By providing practical support, a warm and welcoming sense of community through social activities and events, and the opportunity to make a real difference by helping one another, we support a healthy, safe and satisfying life for our members.
