We are a grassroots network, working for climate justice in Vermont and beyond. We organize for local, just solutions to the climate crisis, like regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, and mass transit; in 2018 and 2019, we supported organizers around the state in passing Climate Solutions Resolutions in 55 towns. We also organize resistance to the fossil fuel industry, through protests, direct actions, and more. We recently collaborated with other groups statewide to organize the Sept. 20 climate strikes and week of action. In spring 2019 we organized the five-day Next Steps climate justice walk from Middlebury to the State House. We are building a leader-full movement, and we offer trainings on climate justice leadership, the connection between racial justice and climate justice, ways of making change, nonviolent direct action, and more. We currently have seven ongoing local organizing groups around the state and three family meet-up groups, as well as two writing groups, an internship program, and many other ways that people collaborate with us on working for climate justice.
