Our New Way Garden

Our New Way Garden, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to create and utilize gardens to increase access to healthy, naturally-grown produce to those who otherwise would not have access to such foods in their communities. We grow this food on commercial, private and public lands and donates at least 50 percent to places of need. The produce we do sell generates funds that help set up local, community-run businesses, offering productive activities and positive sources of income for youth. In addition, the gardens serve to educate the public about locally- and naturally-grown food. Our New Way Garden partners with schools and community groups with a variety of educational programs. Experienced-based activities in the gardens help to develop a regard for the natural environment, encouraging environmental stewardship. Connecting with nature, growing food, and learning about its importance in our lives help improve our well-being and build community.
