Mission:

It is Morrissey-Compton Educational Center's mission to enable children and adults with learning disabilities and school-related difficulties to achieve their goals by providing the highest quality diagnostic and intervention services in a supportive environment.

Our Center offers:

Comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations

Treatment in the form of educational therapy, psychotherapy, and skill-building groups

Summer school for students with learning differences

Advocacy for special educational services in the schools

Free parent education classes

An innovative program that focuses on executive functioning (EF). The program includes research on students with EF deficits, conferences that disseminate up-to-date information about EF to professionals, workshops for parents of children with EF deficits, professional development for teaching EF skills in the schools, and training of future researchers and clinicians.
