GIRL RELAX, Inc.

Girl RELAX, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing the mental health and well-being of the Black community through child advocacy, stigma reduction, and holistic wellness programming. Our vision is to Revitalize the community by Evaluating our collective challenges, Loving one another through growth, Acknowledging the need for self-improvement, and eXamining our inner strength – forming the core of the Girl R.E.L.A.X. philosophy. We are committed to removing the negative stigma surrounding mental health services, particularly within the Black community, by fostering open conversations, building, trust, and creating supportive spaces for healing.

Our initiatives include Kid’s Corner, an indoor playground offering safe, enriching play; Online Parenting Classes; and an expanding Online Wellness Hub that connects families with trusted professionals.

Impact & Goals

Our goal is to create a lasting, positive impact by:

• Increasing mental health awareness and acceptance in the Black community
• Providing accessible, culturally responsive support to families
• Reducing the stigma associated with seeking mental health services
• Supporting the next generation of confident, emotionally healthy children
