There are 1.8 million nonprofits in the United States which file publicly-available tax returns that are easily accessed on the internet. But of these, only 74,785 demonstrate performance accountability through widely respected GuideStar Seals of Transparency. Sustained or increased spending won’t make a difference without first fixing a deep structural problem in the nonprofit system - performance accountability.

Track & Share seeks to provide nonprofit organizations with practical, hands-on assistance to choose performance measurements, track them over time, and report them to donors, other stakeholders and the general public. Widely-accepted Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Seals of Transparency can thereby be earned.
