“To provide professional services to people who encounter problems beyond their control related to separation from home, family, financial, and social support systems.” The Travelers Aid program at Washington Union Station began fulfilling this mission in 1912. Trained staff and volunteers offer support and guidance to stranded and distressed passengers, exploring all possibilities to safely help them reach their destination.
