Access Health Louisiana (AHL) is the largest network of Federally Qualified Health Centers in the state. Our network of more than 90 providers sees more than 41,000 patients a year in ten Louisiana parishes including: Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. Charles, Washington, Plaquemines, Tangipahoa, Iberville and Rapides.
Our mission is simple: to improve the health of the people we serve. We do this by striving for the highest levels of patient care every day. In fact, Access Health Louisiana has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) based upon standards of patient safety and quality. This means that AHL adheres to evidenced-based standards shown to improve quality, health and safety of its patients, as well as reduced costs.
