God's Storehouse

More than 16,000 people in Danville live on incomes below the federal poverty line. More than 6,500 people have incomes that only reach slightly above the federal poverty line and are unable to qualify for federal/state assistance programs. God’s Storehouse is able to serve the needs of these groups, ensuring cupboards are never completely bare and people can always feed their families.

Most of the work of God’s Storehouse is performed by 25-30 volunteers each day we are open for distribution. God's Storehouse also employs five staff members: Director, Assistant Director, Warehouse Manager, Van Driver, and Warehouse Clerk.

The God’s Storehouse motto is, "United to End Hunger." The original goal of reaching those in need to provide food is still our objective.
