Project Match

Project Match’s mission is to help transform the lives of talented students of color by placing them in world class independent boarding schools where they can receive the intellectual and social preparation to be leaders in their professions, communities and the nation. To maximize our impact, we focus on serving inner city communities in the Washington, D.C. area where the need for educational opportunity is high and the pool of talented children is strong. Since our founding thirty years ago, Project Match has been an agent of social change by successfully placing over 500 students in 85 boarding schools around the United States, with 95% of the children we serve immediately enrolling in 4-year colleges that often rank amongst the most prestigious in the nation.
