Stanford Flying Club - Flight School

Founded in 1930 at Stanford University, the Stanford Flying Club is a nonprofit educational organization located in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. Incorporated as a public benefit corporation in 1977, we are proud to be able to offer memberships and facilitate flight training opportunities and offer aviation education resources, for the general public. Location & Access: Our facilities are located at and near the Palo Alto Airport (PAO), just minutes from Stanford’s campus in Silicon Valley. Membership—and opportunities to learn to fly— are open to everyone, regardless of Stanford affiliation. Whether you're a student, professional, or aviation enthusiast, the Stanford Flying Club offers a welcoming, collegiate atmosphere where you can pursue your passion for flight.
