Scholarship Central College Access Program

Housed at the Muskingum County Community Foundation, the Schoharship Central College Access Program is designed to provide a comfortable place for students, parents, and residents to obtain information about colleges and universities, scholarships, and financial aid available in Muskingum County.

Muskingum County and Zanesville are privileged to have a wide range of scholarships available to its residents. Muskingum County has more endowed scholarship money than the other 28 Appalachian Ohio counties combined. Local scholarships range from assistance for financially needy students to merit-based awards. The awards range from $150 to four-year scholarships that can total more than $20,000.00.

Searching for scholarships can be quite overwhelming for both parents and students. Each scholarship has varying criteria and requirements.

In cooperation with Zanesville and Muskingum County high school guidance counselors, local college and university financial aid offices, and administrators of private scholarships, we are making scholarship information available at Scholarship Central. Our goal is to increase the number of students pursuing an education beyond high school in our county. Ultimately, we would like everyone in Muskingum County to have the opportunity to pursue education beyond high school.
