Stanford Hospital Health Library's mission is to provide scientifically-based medical information to help people make informed decisions about their health and health care.

Stanford Hospital Health Library is a free and open-to-the public consumer health library. Our holdings include a significant collection of books, medical journals, newsletters, and videos. The Stanford Health Library website includes extensive links to scientifically valid health information and more than 1000 E-Books and streamed videos. Librarians and trained volunteers assist patrons in finding the information they seek. Research packets including the most current medical information are produced free of charge.
