Together & Free

Together & Free was founded in 2018, following the announcement of the Trump Administration’s zero tolerance policy to separate immigrant families. Initially, we helped separated families physically reunite, travel to and settle in their new communities, and connect with legal representation.

Now, our network of active volunteers across the country remains engaged in providing support to asylum-seeking immigrant families. We collaborate with partner organizations to offer holistic support to families who are still suffering from the after-effects of family separation, and who are now reeling from the twin health and economic crises caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
