HomeSight is a non-profit community development corporation that strives to revitalize neighborhoods through affordable homeownership strategies. Sustainable long-term homeownership builds strong communities. HomeSight makes opportunities available by offering three basic services to all first-time homebuyers in King and Snohomish Counties in Washington State, regardless of income: 1) educational classes combined with individual financial assessments and counseling to guide potential homeowners through the entire home buying process; 2) down payment assistance loans and affordable first mortgages to qualified buyers; 3) affordable homes for sale. Since HomeSight's visionary programs began over a decade ago, over 1,100 successful homeowners have been created and over 265 affordable homes have been constructed and sold - recognized locally and nationally for their innovation and quality.
