State Government Citizens Campaign is a SuperPAC whose mission is to help elect Democratic majorities in state legislatures. We have seen, over the last decade, how the GOP has weaponized state legislatures to allow their politicians choose their voters, instead of vice versa, through gerrymandering; stripped women of their reproductive rights; blocked environmental legislation crucial for saving the planet; impoverished their citizens through regressive taxes; and now quite literally threatened democracy by teaming up with Donald Trump to refuse to certify the popular Presidential vote in their state--an approach that they are actively honing for the 2024 election. Our goal is to give the people of each state a chance to save their democracy, their planet, and their own lives by taking back power in their state legislatures--where the Founding Fathers granted the most power in our republic.
