Kawaakibi Foundation is an accelerator for thinkers and doers, with a focus on empowering communities across the Middle East and North Africa. Our vision is to create a MENA region that is free, egalitarian, pluralistic, integrated, safe and prosperous.
We merge original research, media production and activism, and focus on under-appreciated vectors of change such as disruptive technologies, with the long-term future of the region in mind. Our programmes include The Jamal Khashoggi Disinformation Monitor, the Strategic Narrative Lab, The MENA Bitcoin Hub and Shefa.
