Bargemusic's mission is to present the canon of traditional chamber music throughout the year. We give four concerts each week, for an unprecedented 220 concerts annually. We invite artists from all over the world. The small floating concert hall attracts diverse audiences, inspiring discussion between the many cultures and traditions that make up New York City and the world community.
Bargemusic is dedicated to the presentation of chamber music in the intimate setting for which it was intended. Bargemusic is committed to providing performance opportunities to a diverse group of musicians while making classical chamber music available and accessible to the public.
