ABOUT US

“Creshendo” derives from the word crescendo, which refers to the highest point reached in a progressive increase of intensity. This reflects Creshendo's mission to empower refugees by providing specialized programs and support services that elevate them to reach their potential. 

Creshendo believes in an inclusive approach that sets us apart from other nonprofit organizations. Rather than pushing assimilation, we encourage integration. We prioritize understanding the needs of the people we work with by partnering with grassroots organizations around the world. We provide these local organizations with tools to serve the communities they are a part of and therefore, understand best. By involving them in our decision-making processes and program designs, we ensure that our initiatives are culturally sensitive, driven by the communities themselves, and truly responsive to the unique needs and aspirations of the people we serve. 

Through connection, empowerment, and cultural sensitivity, we challenge the colonial paradigm of aid and bring the voices of those in need to the center of the process. 

MISSION 

Creshendo’s mission is to empower refugee women and youth, fostering their integration, autonomy, and self-sufficiency. Through specialized programs and support services, we equip them with the tools, knowledge, and resources to navigate new environments, advocate for their needs, and achieve their aspirations. 

VISION 

Our vision is to create a society where refugees on every continent can regain their self-autonomy, overcome barriers, and crescendo into unlocking their full potential.
