Edward Foundation was established in 1990 and has raised more than $24 million to benefit numerous departments and programs at Edward Hospital, including Edward Cancer Center, Edward Heart Hospital, Women and Children’s Services, Clinic for Sexually Abused Children, Children’s Facial Clinic, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Animal-Assisted Therapy and the Healing Arts Program. The Foundation’s annual major fundraising events include a fall gala, summer golf outing and Hoops for Healing, a Thanksgiving week high school basketball tournament.
