Whitman-Walker Health provides health care services to anyone in the community, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status.

Our specialty is compassionate medical care and supportive services for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities and those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Established in 1973, Whitman-Walker Health is a community-based organization with hundreds of volunteers who provide millions of dollars’ worth of services annually. With compassion and dedication, the staff and volunteers provide vital primary medical care and social support services to the thousands of clients who turn to the clinic each year.
