Daughter for the Day, Inc. was founded by Tonja Lark in 2005. She shared a special relationship with her grandmother and would frequently reminisce about the memorable moments spent with her "Nana"...taking her to the doctor, to the mall, and to the grocery store. Spending this quality time with her Nana gave Tonja an appreciation for senior citizens. She realized that there were many other seniors that needed someone to show them a little attention. Seeing this growing need for assistance, the idea of providing senior citizens with a "Daughter for the Day" was conceived.
