Misión
Kizuna's mission is to build a future for our community through the education, empowerment, and engagement of the next generation.
Acerca de
Kizuna was founded in 2011 to create a space for the next generation of
young leaders in the Japanese American community. Over the last 11
years Kizuna has evolved into an established youth and professional
development organization located in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. We
educate our participants on the foundations of Japanese American
culture and heritage and remain open to anyone who is interested in
learning more about community, becoming a leader, organizing, Board
service and beyond.
Our organization has engaged over 7,000 youth and young adults through
our Program Pipeline from age seven through adulthood to learn and
connect with the community. Offering multiple points of program entry, Kizuna hosts four distinct programs.
