Washington DC Police Foundation

The Washington DC Police Foundation (DCPF) is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit bringing together the business, nonprofit and professional communities and individuals to promote public safety by providing financial and in-kind resources to support Chief of Police Cathy Lanier and the DC Metropolitan Police Department's critical unmet public safety needs and to expand public safety awareness and advance public safety initiatives.

The DC Police Foundation’s efforts focus on vulnerable children and neighborhoods with pro-active, crime-prevention outreach programs working hand-in-hand with the community. The DC Police Foundation also assists with the acquisition of more effective technologies and equipment for the Department’s crime-fighting needs, positioning MPD as a model for other law enforcement agencies.

Our goal is to make the Nation’s Capital a safer place for all to live, work and visit.
