Queens Sickle Cell Advocacy Network

We depend on volunteers like you to help us recruit sponsors, teams, and other volunteers that will help increase fundraising dollars for sickle cell awareness, education, research, and support services that will beneifit families and individuals with sickle cell disease, thalasemia and the trait.

There are various volunteer opportunities that are needed:

Office help

Marketing/Advertising

Help recruiting volunteers and team leaders

Set-up & break down

Day of event registration help

Help with the Children's Pavilion

Distribute water to walkers at 3 intervals along the walk-a-thon route

Help to coordinate the Walk-A-Thon
