Project Pericles is a higher education non-profit organization committed to preparing students to be effective citizens and civic leaders. Working with our consortium of Periclean colleges and universities, as well as many other higher education institutions, we support innovative curricula and faculty leadership that empower students with the skills to address society’s grand challenges, including: Climate Change, Economic Justice, Education Access, Immigration, Mass Incarceration, Public Health, Race and Inequality, and Voter Engagement. Project Pericles supports political and democratic engagement across all levels of the institution. We were founded in 2001 by the visionary educational philanthropist Eugene M. Lang.
