From Nest to Wings

From Nest to Wings provides workshops and conferences designed to help high school students and their parents prepare for the college, community college, trade school, and university search, application and first year experience.  We work with area high schools to compliment the strong work they do to help students plan their future. Our programming fills in the blanks and targets parents as well as students. We are working to develop online resources to support our classroom experiences and our monthly newsletter. We also provide Spanish language courses for parents. Our programming is strong and our program evaluations reflect a true appreciation for our work.

From Nest to Wings has been in existence for 8 years. Our first seven years we were a program within another community organization. For the past year, we have been a stand-alone 501 (c) (3) organization. Our last year has had a binary focus, first on our programming and second in establishing a Board of Directors, organization structure, job descriptions, and goals for the future. We are ready for the future!
