The Petersen Automotive Museum believes the car is more than four wheels and a transmission. We believe the car is defined by more than its horsepower and whether it's fuel-injected or carbureted. We believe the car is: a work of art - a shaper of cultural identity - a marvel of technology - a revolution in history. And we are looking for enthusiastic women and men who think so too. We are ready to show the world the car is more than just a car.

The Petersen Automotive Museum explores and presents the history of the automobile and its impact on American life and culture, with Los Angeles as the prime example, through 25 brand new galleries, 300+ historic vehicles in the collection, and innovative, interactive, family-focused programming.
