Agriculture & Energy Resource Center, Inc.

AERC promotes sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and strong local food systems in northwestern Wisconsin. AERC hosts and develops educational community programming and serves as a site for demonstration and education projects. AERC also works to preserve and restore the historic Ashland Agricultural Research Station, which provided agricultural education to northern Wisconsin from its inception in 1911 until it was decommissioned by the University of Wisconsin in 2006.
