A Public Space is an independent nonprofit publisher of an award-winning literary and arts magazine as well as APS Books, a new imprint launching in 2018. Since 2006, it has been our mission to seek out overlooked and unclassifiable work, and to publish writing from beyond established confines. Through a fellowship program, workshops and events, the magazine, and the books imprint, A Public Space supports writers and artists at every stage of their careers. A Public Space is located in Brooklyn, New York.
