Open hand Elgin

Open Hand attempts to meet the immediate needs of both Veterans in crisis and our homeless population. We never let people go hungry, work as an advocate in getting services as needed, and supply many of the items unavailable through other resources. Our goals are to eventually be able to meet both day and night shelter needs and promote a two year program which actually works to give people a second chance to become a productive part of the community while still having a support network.

We are a hands-on help and work toward the long-range needs and goals of those in need.
