Development in Action UK Registered Charity: 1037554 "Engaging Young People in Global Issues".

Development in Action (DiA) is a development education non-governmental organisation (NGO) run by young people for young people. We aim to enhance young people's wider education in the UK and in India. We offer self-funded voluntary placements in India. We work in areas of education (formal and non-formal), researching and administering projects, women's income generation and training and with deaf and blind children. Whilst on the placement, volunteers are encouraged to get involved in development issues and global awareness.
