Innocence En Danger

Innocence en Danger was created to implement the ‘Action Plan’ drafted by experts on January 19, 1999 at the UNESCO headquarters. The theme was “exploitation and pornography involving children, and pedophilia on the Internet—a global challenge”. The meeting was set up following the dismantle of international pedophile networks connected through the Internet.

Under the presidency of Ms. Homayra Sellier, it was formed in response to the recommendations of the UNESCO expert meeting in January 1999 on ‘Child Abuse and the Internet’ to pursue the objectives of the ‘Action Plan’ which was adopted to combat sexual abuse of children.

With headquarters in Switzerland and offices in 4 other countries (France, US, Germany, and Colombia), we operate in 32 countries throughout the world through partner institutions who share our objectives. Our aim is to sensitize the public (governmental and non-governmental organizations, private enterprises, community associations, and educational institutions) on the increasing dangers of paedo-criminality. We do this by bringing together militants, internet specialists, jurists, political decision-makers, businessmen, journalists and national action groups

In April 2000 Innocence en Danger was formalized to operate independently of any other organization

Every day more then 240.000 children around the world are abused. That is enough to fill up a whole daily newspaper just with their names.
