As part of a broader nationwide growth effort, Teach For America is pursuing in Greater New Orleans the most significant and exciting growth plan in our organization’s history. After many conversations with education leaders at the local, state, and national level about the human capital and leadership needs of our schools and broader community infrastructure, we are embarking on a campaign to bring in 250 new Teach For America corps members over each of the next three years, resulting in 750 new, talented leaders who will be able to provide a high quality education to thousands of New Orleans students while also fueling pipelines for future leadership roles in the city.
